Privacy
Hyduri Capture runs on your Mac. This page says plainly what it does with your information.
Your pictures and videos
They're saved in your Pictures folder, on your Mac. The app doesn't upload them. They only leave your Mac when you send, share or paste them yourself.
Screen, keys and microphone
Your Mac asks your permission for each. Screen access is used to capture what you choose. Key presses are used to paste into your chat. The microphone is used only when you record with sound.
Captions
English and most other languages are transcribed on your Mac. Arabic uses Apple's speech service, so your Mac may send that sound to Apple under Apple's own privacy terms.
Updates
About once a day, the app asks this website whether a newer version exists. Like any website, it can see your internet address when that happens. No screen content or personal details are sent.
Visit counts
This website counts visits as daily totals: which page, which country, where the visit came from and the type of device. It uses no tracking cookies and doesn't keep your IP address or anything that identifies you. While your tab is open, your browser remembers where the visit came from so a visit counts once, and if you download or buy, I keep that source and your country with your record.
Download form
I ask for your name and email before you download, and keep them with the date you downloaded. They're stored with Supabase.
Emails
I only send tips and trial reminders if you tick the box on the download form. Every one has an unsubscribe link. Those emails contain a tiny invisible picture that tells me if the email was opened, and your mail app may block it. I keep a copy of emails I send you and whether they were delivered, so I can help you later. Email is sent through Resend.
Free trial
About once a day during your trial, the app sends this website a one-way fingerprint of your Mac, your trial's start date and the app version. It lets each Mac have one trial, and lets me extend yours if you ask. During a trial, the app needs to connect at least every 3 days. The fingerprint can't be turned back into your Mac's details, and the app doesn't send your name, email or anything from your screen.
Windows waitlist
If you join the Windows waitlist, I keep your email, your country and where your visit came from. I use your email to confirm you joined and to tell you once when the Windows version is ready, and it isn't added to the tips emails.
Contact form
If you contact me, I keep your name, email and message so I can reply and help you later.
Free offers
If you claim a free key from an offer email, I keep your email with your key so I can send it and help you later. It doesn't add you to any tips or marketing emails.
Affiliate links
If you arrive through a creator's affiliate link, Lemon Squeezy's affiliate script runs while you visit, so that creator is credited if you buy. It isn't loaded for anyone else.
Campaign emails
If you've been in touch or agreed to hear from me, I may send you an email about an offer. I keep your email and whether it was sent and opened. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and once you use it you won't get another.
Offers and referrals
If you have a referral link, I may email you when someone buys through it, plus a reminder after a week and after a month. Each has an unsubscribe link. If you claim a First 10 licence or enter the draw, I keep your name and email to run that offer, and only email you about it. If you buy while referrals are running, I keep a link code with your email and count sales made through it. A friend's link code is saved on your device so it can reach checkout.
Payments
Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record and handles your payment, tax and receipt. I never see your card. They tell me your email, what you bought, the amount and your licence key, so I can stop trial emails, keep my records and resend your key if you lose it.
Licence keys
Activating a key sends it and your Mac's name to Lemon Squeezy to confirm it's valid. About once a week the app checks the key is still good, for example after a refund.
Crash reports
If the app closes unexpectedly, the next time it opens it sends this website a short report so the problem can be fixed: the app and macOS versions, the type of Mac chip, the error, and which parts of the app were running. It doesn't include your name, your files, anything from your screen or your comments. You can turn this off in Settings, under Send Crash Reports Automatically. Then the app offers to prepare an email with the report instead, and nothing is sent unless you send it.
